A study conducted by the Pennsylvania State University for the Construction Industry Institute backs up that claim, showing that this approach reduces costs and cuts construction time. Two of its recent customers, Bethlehem Steel, and subsequently International Steel Group, chose the Total Facilities Management solution for their two-million-square-foot portfolio. Sanofi-Pasteur, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of vaccines, also chose H.T. Lyons to operate its central utility plant, which is open 24 hours a day.

Known for success
Not only does HT Lyons offer a wide variety of services, it’s also widely recognized for high quality and exquisite safety standards. The company won the American Subcontractors Association (ASA) Excellence in Safety award in 2001 and 2002, completed the Mechanical Contractor’s Association of America’s Safety Statistics Program, won its Safety Excellence Zero Lost Time award, and won second place for its Safety Excellence overall award.

In addition, HT Lyons won the Safety Excellence and Zero Injury award from the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association in 2003.
